FAQ

What is fiber coupling mode based on single laser diode?

2021-01-29
All the lasers provided by box Optronics are based on the fiber coupling mode of single laser. The products include single tube coupling series, multiple single tube coupling series and fiber bundle module series. The coupling mode of a single laser is to couple the light from a single LD chip into the optical fiber, and obtain a certain output power semiconductor laser after production and packaging. The wavelength of single laser coupling series is from 405nm to 976nm, and the power is 2MW to 10W. The multi single laser fiber coupling series adopts the multi single tube coupling technology to realize the superposition of several or even dozens of LD beams through reasonable optical path design, so as to couple into the fiber. The wavelength ranges from 450nm to 976nm, and the power can achieve 1.6W to 200W. The fiber bundling module is used to bundle the fiber of the laser assembly coupled with multiple fibers, and then combine the fiber with the beam combiner, and then couple it to the fiber output. The wavelength can be from 450nm to 1550nm, and the power can reach 300W. Generally, the latter two methods are used in high power lasers.
